Kumiho Esports has always been more than just a club. For us, Education, Training and Innovation are fundamental pillars. For this reason, we are working on them daily through different projects.

ADAPTATION OF VIDEO GAMES IN THE CLASSROOM

From the beginning and, at an early age, we try to raise awareness of the positive aspects that video games can provide. Therefore, we usually adapt video games that students like and we take them to the classroom while they are learning the contents of the subjects, usually as manipulative material. On the other hand, we also participate in face-to-face events to promote it and we write articles about it.

PLAYERS AND STAFF

Being a competitive club, one of our main objectives is to train our players and staff in order to develop their professional profile within the esports sector, therefore, we usually take them to competitions. In addition, we offer them private sessions with professionals. On the other hand, we also receive internship students who are completing studies related to this sector.

ENGLISH CLASSES (ESPORTS)

For our players, the language barrier will not be a problem. We provide English sessions to improve communication. In addition, we teach them how to write CV's and cover letters for offers that may come from abroad.

TRAINING COURSES

General training on esports or more specific such as:

  • THE MANAGEMENT OF EMOTIONS IN ESPORTS - TRAINING COURSE (IN PROGRESS)

Controlling and managing emotions is one of the most important aspects in the competitive environment. After years of experience, we are developing a training course for those that are interested in this topic.

  • ADAPTATION OF VIDEO GAMES IN THE CLASSROOM FOR TEACHERS - TRAINING COURSE (IN PROGRESS)

We love to break the fear barrier and raise awareness about the positive aspects that video games can bring in the classroom, for that reason, we are developing a specific training course for teachers, in order to demonstrate in a gamified way the potential that a video game can have in our classes, digitally or with manipulative material (Hybrid).

INNOVAtion

Another aspect that we love is to develop new projects, either individually or through collaborations. Currently, we are working on two internationally projects in order to contribute to the industry.

MENTALVERSE AND GAMHERS (EUW X MENA)

Both are made in collaboration with the company Goat Ecademy, which is dedicated to teach different areas that are part of esports.

Mentalverse is a video/podcast program. We talk about how to manage emotions in competitions, in addition we write articles about it in English and Spanish.

Gamhers is an interview program where we give voice, visibility and support to all women in the gaming industry, from casters, players, to developers, designers, among other profiles.
